25/06/2012 - Uzbekistan raises issue of Rogun hydropower plant at UN conference in Rio de Janeiro

TASHKENT, June 25, CA-NEWS (UZ) - Uzbek Delegation gave a speech at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, held on June 22 in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. In the speech, the Uzbek side reiterated the need for equitable use of transboundary waters, taking into account the interests of coastal states.
